IT’S ME NICOLE, FOUNDER OF HONEST YOGA
Struggling overachiever turned yoga educator and studio owner
Not to be dramatic or anything — but yoga genuinely redirected the course of my life. If you rewound a decade, you’d find me navigating an eating disorder, first-time motherhood, and a marriage that was falling apart. I was overwhelmed, disconnected from myself, and trying to hold everything together on the outside while quietly unraveling inside.
Yoga was the thing that helped me come back to myself. It gave me strength when I didn’t feel strong and a community when I felt incredibly alone.
That practice cracked something open in me. I went on to earn my 200-hour certification, completed my 500-hour, became a teacher trainer, and eventually started leading global retreats. I’ve spent the last decade teaching thousands of students, mentoring new teachers, and building Honest Yoga into a space where people can move with intention, regulate their nervous systems, reconnect with who they are, and feel supported in whatever chapter they’re in.
Alongside the studio, I’ve stepped into my work as a performance and mindset coach for athletes and executives — helping people tap into presence, breath, and inner strength in a way that actually translates to their real lives.
And I’m also a mom to two teenage boys, which keeps me humble, grounded, and very much in real life.
I teach from lived experience — not theory. I’ve walked through the struggle, rebuilt myself more than once, and I’m committed to sharing the practices that help others do the same.

Like our name, we’re all about honesty in yoga, wellness, and personal growth. Will crystals change your entire life? No. Are we sometimes just at class for savasana Yes. We keep things very real here and that means showing up as you are each and every day and supporting others as they do the same!
Growth is Messy and Necessary
Growth is messy, working on yourself isn’t a perfect process but it is a necessary part of a good life - at least we think so! Our studio holds space for all that comes with growth, and our community is always supporting further learning and development through workshops, events, and retreats.
Movement is Personal
Everyone’s journey with movement is unique and we’re here to be a place for all of it - the tough moments, the amazing wins, the coming home to your body, or the acceptance of it just as it is. Our classes never include a mirror and each yoga educator is an expert at adjusting movements to fit your needs.
